Mersey Cares is heading back to the Yorkshire Three Peaks for another epic fundraiser!

10 February 2025

Our 2025 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes place in June, taking fundraisers on an epic 24.5 mile hike across the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Registration is open for our 2025 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and we're inviting individuals and teams to get involved to help us make it as successful as last year's event.

It’s a great day full of camaraderie and achievement and is a great challenge for those wanting to take part as a team with friends or colleagues. Hikers are supported every step of the way by a team of mountain guides who also offer a series of training walks for no additional cost.

Fundraising enables the charity to fund a range of innovative initiatives across the Trust, enabling our specialist mental health and community services to do more, beyond the scope of the NHS.

You can register via our events page which also includes information on last year’s event to give you an idea of what it entails. Or you can look at a list of our other challenges for 2025.

Take inspiration from Rachel’s story

Y3P Talking Therapies.pngAs part of our Make It Mersey Cares campaign, we’re celebrating the incredible fundraisers who have supported our Mersey Cares charity and the personal stories behind their involvement. One of these inspiring individuals is Mersey Care Talking Therapies, Rachel Munn, who took part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge last year with her colleagues, helping to make it our most successful group fundraiser to date.

Rachel’s fundraising story is truly remarkable - and follows a life changing diagnosis when she was 32 weeks pregnant. Her open and honest interview with us talks about her journey, how physical activity and fundraising have played a crucial role in her recovery and why she’s excited to take on our Snowdon at Night challenge in August.
